It’s time! After an agonizing three-month wait, Nintendo will finally reveal more details on the Switch 2 during its Direct on April 2nd at 9AM ET.
While Nintendo told us very little in the official reveal of the console in January, the Switch 2 isn’t a complete mystery. We do know about its backward compatibility capabilities and that you’ll be able to transfer digital games via the new virtual game card system. There are also suspicions floating around regarding the console’s new “C” button and that the Joy-Con controllers will have some kind of mouse functionality. We even know about at least one new game, a Mario Kart, while strongly suspecting Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be cross-gen releases.
